God Is On the Move

I try my best to not get too caught up in church attendance numbers, yet I can’t help but pause and give thanks to God for what we are seeing shake out this year! We have steadily increased average attendance year over year for the past seven years… (let’s not talk 2020…). But the past six weeks have truly been something amazing to witness. We’ve seen our worship gathering attendance rival points that NBCC has not seen since 2014! This is the best we’ve had in over a decade!

Why?

First off, we must acknowledge God’s faithfulness in sustaining our humble congregation through the worst of times and the best of times. It all begins with Him!

Secondly, our church is becoming more invitational. We pray for the lost, and consider our friends and neighbors who don’t have a church to call their own. Which means, that you are inviting people to our church!! KEEP! IT! UP!

Lastly, we are striving more and more to shepherd the flock among us with the Word of God, the hope of the Gospel, and the means of grace that He has ordained in His Word, which is baptism and communion.

Family, God is on the move!

But there are so many more people who need Jesus, and need to become part of a healthy, and loving community of believers. My hope and prayer is that many more find a church home at North Bullitt!

Here is the challenge!

Pray in this way in the coming weeks and months: “God, who is the one person that you want me to invite to come hear the Good News of Jesus Christ.” Pray for them by name. Share their name with us so that we can pray too. Invite them to come to church!

Let’s keep walking together in faithfulness, and continue to put the Great Commission into practice!
